Be it for dog arthritis, sensitive skin, or gum problems, there are supplements for dogs that can help address these issues. But just as with human health supplements, there are plenty of so-called dog supplements that actually do nothing to improve the health of your dog – which is why we’re doing this review.
The 4Life Transfer Factor Canine Complete is claimed to be one of the best dog supplements available as it “boosts immune system effectiveness” and “provides the complete spectrum of nutrients to support your dog’s needs”. So we tried it on our dogs, giving them 1 serving (7.7g) a day over the course of a month, to see if it made any difference on their health.

Dog Immune System and General Health
After a month of usage, we noticed improved health and fitness levels in our 5 dogs. Two overweight dogs lost some weight, while our oldest dog of 16 years became more energetic. Other users have also reported in forums that 4Life Transfer Factor dog supplements helped with their dogs’ allergies, immune system problems, and dog cancer.
As all of our dogs suffer from hereditary skin sensitivity with varying severity, the improvement in their skin condition after taking 4Life Transfer Factor was clearly visible. There was a significant decrease in the number of welts and the dogs scratched at their skin much less frequently. Since our dogs consume different brands of dog food and use different shampoos, we can confidently claim that this improvement is due to the supplement.
So is the 4Life Transfer Factor Canine worth trying? Definitely – not only is it a decent preventive as far as we can tell, it seems to work wonders for dogs suffering from allergies and multiple health problems.
Since it is supposedly for boosting the immune system and not a joint supplement for dogs, the 4Life Transfer Factor for dogs doesn’t include glucosamine and chondroitin. However, you should still consider the 4Life Transfer Factor as a dog joint supplement because its Poly-R formula contains six varieties of mushrooms and other fungi, which are known to naturally contain glucosamine.
Where to buy 4Life Transfer Factor for Dogs
As the 4Life company conducts direct sales, most pet stores do not retail the 4Life Transfer Factor Canine Complete. Hence, we recommend you to buy it from Amazon. ($52.95, 60 * 7.7g servings)
